What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your Medicare card, a list of any medications you’re currently taking, and any relevant medical information or previous test results you may have. These help us provide the best possible care from your very first visit.
Can I keep my existing GP?
Yes, at Alix Health we’re happy to support your women’s health concerns while keeping your regular GP informed—if that’s what you’d like. Your continuity of care is important to us.
Do I need a referral to attend Alix Health?
No, you don’t need a referral to see us or to receive a Medicare rebate, as our doctors are all General Practitioners. However, if you’re able to bring a health summary or any previous results from your existing doctor, it can help us provide more informed care.
